As this is a new service I don't expect lots of replies, but has any one joined Vodafone broadband? If so is it any good?

I've changed my BT (i had infinity 74mbits), to Vodafone as it's so much cheaper.
I was with Vodafone mobile for 5 years and they offered me Superfast Fibre+ (76mbit) for 20 quid a month for 18 months, thats inclusive line rental.
I was abit sceptic about it, but believe or not i'm getting 8mb/s download and upload around 3mb/s. My ping in CS Go dropped down.
Their AP/ROUTER is a great piece of kit, very good signal (130mbit/s on my phone).
Overall i'm very very happy i left BT (i've been pating 42 quid a month to BT)
Hope answered many of your questions

Are you sure thats inclusive of line rental as that just seem beyond economical, I can't see anyone let alone Vodafone offering such a deal for unlimited 76mb Fibre? I've literally just finished canvassing the entire market for the best deal and none of them got anywhere near that.

I got offered the same deal as a Vodafone customer for 76mb fibre which was £20 instead of £25 (£5 loyalty discount) but line rental was not included and was £16.99 so £36.99 total which is actually not very competitive.

I'm with BT perfectly happy with the speeds so a quick call to them at the end of my term and I ended up with the below for 12 months, along with BT Sport included, 50gb cloud storage which is very handy and BT Wifi which I find brilliant when out and about it was a no brainer.

I was paying £45 with Sky for Fibre Pro and after a few complaints about the ever increasing costs they dropped the price down to just over £30 for 12 months new contract. I was considering Vodafone but after what you said ^ I may avoid them

Do you really think so?

I think it's shocking. There's a known bug in the firmware that causes issues with some media services, you can't control some straightforward things on the router e.g. turning DHCP off, and it couldn't handle 20 devices on my network without keeling over as its under powered.

As a service it's a good price but the killer for me is that they won't let you use your own router and won't give out the credentials to use any 3rd party kit. Ive had to dumb down everything on the connect router and put my own on a separate subnet behind it to handle the network side of things.

Have a look at this thread and other similar ones in their forums:
