Vodafone or Orange?

I'm changing my phone to a K800i and can't decide whether to go with Orange or Vodafone, on Orange I'm looking at the Racoon £35 a month deal with 550 anytime mins, 200 texts and unlimited landline calls.

On Vodafone I'm looking at the £35 tariff, with 500 anyime mins, 100 texts, plus 3 months half price line rental, sky entertainment pack (free for 6 months) and an additional 250 free texts, bringing it to 350 texts.

Both sound like good deals but I think the deciding factor will be which one is seen as a better company, with more coverage and better customer service, what one would you go for?

Vodafone - better coverage in general - but I don't think there's much differnce with the major networks.

I've always been with Orange.
My bro-in-law recently moved his business Vodafone to O2. I tried to get him to go to Orange but O2 was cheaper. However I'm keeping a close track on the O2 bills as they look a bit suspect to me.

I know vodafone quite heavily brand their phones but they don't remove features and stuff do they?

As far as I know all the features are still there.

And I'd go with vodafone

Orange. Ive never had bother with coverage whereas i did on vodafone. Thier customer service is 500 times better too.

I found it 100% the opposite, the reason I left Orange was poor coverage at my uni and bad customer service.

Well I've ended up staying with T-Mobile lol, they done me a good deal, get their Flex tariff at £30 a month for £180 credit, which gives me 900 minutes to use if I don't send any texts, so sounds very good, also get the K800i for free.

Good deal, t-mobile are pretty good and you got a good offer there.

I would have chosen Orange out of Vodafone, i cant stand vodafone after coming off orange for 3 years onto them last year, now im back on orange where im staying

hi i would go with vodafone. they are expensive but have good customer service. i just got them nokia 8800 sirrocco on vodafone . got a very good deal. awesome phone btw. will post pics of it soon

I got it for 50quid from Please don't pimp affiliate sites on vodafone. just go to that site and search for it on there. then i will find the best deal for you. i got the phone within 2 days. its awesome. you wont be dissapointed. im paying 50quid per month for 1800 cross network minutes anytime and 500 txts. awesome phone
