vodafone retentions deal

I was looking to leave voda and go to EE.

was looking at EE sim only at 28.99 with 10 gig... then retentions giving me a note 4 with 20gig for £30....

or £32 sim only and can upgrade anytime...

Wanted to leave voda cause i think there were little pricey but now this sounds like a good deal...

thoughts?

Vodafone kept on offering me good deals but I finally left last week after 7 years for EE and am glad I have done so. When ever I'm out and not in London Vodafone never seem to have any 3g/4g reception yet bid the most for the 'best' frequencies....

Yeah this is what im thinking, i might lose out in data but im thinking EE would provide better quality... decisions

I think that Vodafone must be getting a bit desperate in their efforts to keep customers at the moment, as they have just offered me a 40% discount on one of their published monthly tariffs... plus a free phone!

best I was just offered on 12 month simonly plans was
£10.40 for their 2gb tarrif
£16.50 for 4gb
£22.40 for 10gb
...anyone know if they can go lower?

These were my on the phone notes.

500 texts

spotify 6 months
unlimited texts calls

spotify 12 months
6gb data
unlimited texts calls
£13.50

That last one meant I could cancel my Spotify, so the effective cost was £3.50 a month.

13.50 for 6gig seems really good. TBH i think im going to go for the £30 for 20gig with a note 4... to hard to pass up.

Sell the note4 and bit it towards a note 5 perhaps

Difficult to pass up at that price. You should be able to shift the phone for around £400, so the contract is only costing £320 over two years (£13.33/month).

Ive been on a sim only with Vodafone for 3 years now, ever upgrade I get 50% off which works out great. I mostly stay cause I also get free Spotify, currently paying £21 for Unlimited text, talk, 10gb internet + Spotify. I would pay for Spotify regardless so it saves me £10.

I have found when I need to travel outside of big cities I get 2g, or nothing which is annoying, but I don't have to do that too often. I may see what EE can over me next month when my upgrade is due.

Is Spotify included with all Vodafone monthly tariffs automatically, or is it an extra which you you have to ask or negotiate for?
