Vodafone UK getting iPhone it seems

That would be good as at the moment i have a Magic with a 24mth contract so i suppose by the time my voda contract is up the iphone should be out.

Good to see it coming to a network that people can actually get a 3g signal on.

Hopefully the competition should bring some aggressive price points for this, either that or Apple have told Orange Vodafone what they must charge...:p

Excellent news, I saw Orange had got the rights to sell it yesterday which made me slightly happier as I would chose them over O2 anyday. But now that Vodafone is in on the act, my upgrade is due in January with them :D

True - however you do have a major advantage on Vodafone over 3 - the ability to actually get a signal.

Lol, was just about to say this :p

Vodafone's 3G once tethered (from my magic) is insanely fast too for such a connection, I averaged 140k/s download speeds when I tethered to my laptop with 1bar of 3G reception and my uncle connected to me from his iPhone and he was mighty impressed with the speed.

Indeed and the fact the when you have an issue and need to ring them, you are not instantly transferred to India or somehwere.

A nice comment on Vodafones statement:

that the phone was going to be primarily for existing Vodafone customers

Be nice to see what that brings..

Awesome news!

I'm very very happy with Vodafone and I am after an iPhone so this is great news for me!

I also think the comment about the phone being primarily for existing customers is great news too. Let's hope that the prices are competitive and they offer a decent upgrade price too!
