Vodka

it was water, unless he has a horrific problem, which i suspect is unlikely as you would have noticed this

My girlfriend drank a bottle of JD in an evening. But she was drunk for the next day and was very rough afterwards...

this is possible. chugging a bottle of vodka, however, is not.
i had half a bottle of cognac over a few hours and that was quite enough thank you

...ooooo ye with a couple of lovely sausages! MAYBE SOME MASH!?!?

I think we can put the mash down as a definite not sure this is really on topic (I wouldnt mind adding a honey glazed roast parsnip or two though tbh maybe even some stuffing mix it up a bit!)

I drank 70cl Blavod half a bottle of apple sours with beer in between on new years eve. It was over about 6 hours though, and i do have a freakish tolerance to vodka. I can happily swig away at the stuff all night, but give me a few whiskeys and sambuccas and i am down! I was very drunk, until i got home where i chucked up all over the driveway, and the blackish green sick stained the brick work :p.

I am a fatty though, and I wouldnt do it again.

I drank a bottle(or near enough) of vodka straight before over a hour or so, and I was so ****** afterward, I was told of my actions the next day. The last thing I remember is pukin up laughing my arse off with a mate in the bathroom , and then sweating it out and everyone having to take my tshirt off as i stumbled back into the room and the abyss.

They tried to put me in a big dog cage. And a couple of em were chattin to me in bed, can't remember a thing until about 4ish when i woke up!

This was my first proper encounter with vodka I believe

In my younger days I downed a full bottle of white wine, I chundered in less than a minute. For me it was impossible to hold down.

lol, you guys are all girls.

But the things people are saying are just nonsense, why if its the same liquid would a shot not make you through up, but an entire bottle would? Does downing a bottle of water make you throw up automatically, while a shot's worth or water does? no? nonsense. likewise, you down a bottle of vodka, let me think, he will instantly absorb it all, in seconds, so pass out instantly.............. no, alcohol doesn't absorb that fast so theres entirely no reason for him to pass out either.

In general you can gain tolerance to alcohol, and also specific tolerance to a specific type of alcohol. I wasn't great at drinking beer as I never liked it, never drank much so never got used to it. I've had vodka since I started drinking pretty much, in terms of alcohol content I can drink 3-4 times as much vodka as beer, because my body is used to vodka. So while you normally pack down 10 cans in an evening, but can't do 4 shots of vodka, he's probably one of those that would feel crap on 4 cans, but can drink an entire bottle of vodka with ease.

Depends what he ate, how much he drinks, how big his liver is, how fat he is, how healthy he is and many more variables aswell.

Would also depend on the temperature aswell, the colder the vodka, unsurprisingly the less vapours it gives off the easier it is to drink and the less of a nail varnish effect is has. properly ice cold vodka should barely even cause a tinge as it goes down.

I couldn't down a bottle of Grants vodka at room temperature, it would be disgusting and one shot would make me gag. A 70cl bottle of Stoli, chilled to -5/-10c you could drink of glass of it not being that much worse than a glass of water frankly.

I can put pretty much anythign in my stomach till it literally fills to the top, if you fill your stomach too much with liquid you'll puke, I seem to only puke that last little bit that goes over the top. Freshers week we were seeing how much we could down and those 4 pint juggs of snakebite just screamed out for a challenge match. I'd had a few and did the 4 pints, i could tell the final few gulps were filling me up too much, did them anyway, threw up about a 1/4 pint, rest stayed down. Vindaloo's and vodka training and my stomach seems to be able to take anything now.
