CPU Type QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 965
Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-M720-US3

Ok I had my motherboard and cpu for about 1 year now and always had voltages on AUTO, anyways I decided to check my temps and see about overclocking.

When checking temps they seemed very high 43 idal 65 under load. So went into my bios and i noticed my cpu voltage was set at 1.45.

Does anyone know the correct voltages for my cpu as I am sure it should be less.

PS I have the 125W Edition cpu

The reason I ask the question is because i changed the voltage to 125, and when running assasins creed brotherhood the game kept crashing but it was running fine before.
But yet when i run prime all seems stable.

Pic of current bios setup.

Basicly what I am trying to find out is was my motherboard setting the voltage right? and if no has any damage been done to my cpu

Also getting crashes now in other games

1.375V is standard for the 125W 965 as shown in your bios screen. -0.150V means that you are running at 1.225V which may be a little low. No damage will have been done. Try 1.35V (-0.025V), test and then try 0.025V reductions testing each time.

grr should name the cpu 137 watt edition. Thanks for the info. Been playing few games now at 1.36. No crashes for the past hour. idal temp 32-34 load prime temps 55-56. (not to bad I dont think)
When i get a new case in about 2 weeks I hope to drop the temps a little, currently using a cheap crappy no brand case I have had for about 5 years. With a Cooler Master Hyper TX3
