voltage to high?

so for what i current play and do i think prime maybe a little higher. i should be ok with the stock cooler for most things i run other than prime95

with that sort of OC yeh for the short term. but long term i would save for a decent cooler so you can be sure that gaming will be in the 40-50s. but dont waste your time/money with a cheap one, they just dont seem to be worth it at this point in time.
 
You can ask everyones here "How many users on this forum had a Intel Stock cooler for overclocking?" They all will tell you this "NONE! - USING A HIGH END COOLER OR CUSTOM WATERCOOLING"

it is possible to oc with a stock cooler :confused: but for long term overclocking then it is recommended that you purchase a decent cooler. his temps and voltages are within the guidelines, so will cause no more damage than someone running a 4.8GHz oc with an aftermarket cooler at the same temps.

thanks for that reassurance paradisiac, i will in the future get an aftermarket cooler. then maybe oc to 4.8ghz see how that is but atm i think ill be fine.
