Ok so i have some dsp 500's and a microsoft keyboard. up until today they always worked fine with windows 7 but for some reason, today i cannot adjust the volume control with them. the keyboard has up/down and mute buttons, the mute button works, but the up and down does not. headsets up and down do nothing either.

im racking my brains but ive no idea whats suddenly caused this or how tofix it?

ok well i tried uninstalling the keyboards drivers and i got some weird error saying

"the feature you are trying to use is on a network rescource that is unavaliable"

im so confused lol. i tried reinstalling and i get the error

Setup must close because an error occured. Verify that your computer meets the system requirement on the product packaging. Restart your computer and try running Setup again. If this error happens again, see help from support (error code 1603)

please help haha

i said i tried reinstalling :D

edit

went to device manager and got rid of it that way, but on reboot its still the same. mute key works but up and down doesnt >< and the drivers wont install (though win 7 installs them automatially), giving the same errors. i also uninstalled the headset drivers, rebooted and they installed automatically. but still cant change volume with those either...

argh!

If its a driver issue have you tried doing a system restore back when it worked?

Does the software/drivers appear in add/remove programs (W7 equivalent)?
