Hi all

Sorry if this is in the wrong section

I'm thinking of buying myself a new summer hat/cap and came across a few Von Dutch ones I like...

I've never heard of this brand before, Does anyone know much about it, is it decent? Not Chavvy is it?

Cheers

Need a checkered shirt, unbuttoned of course, white tank top covered in grease stains, and old jeans to go with that.

If you walk around permanently with a beer can.

Actually, I might get one of those hats......y'all.

Ohhh jeez maybe I'll stay away from that brand then

@Efour no I wouldn't fit in with it around here, you need to be more Balaclava, Hoodrich Tracksuit and an Electric Bike to blend in

You never heard of Von Dutch? they were massive in the 2000s, went chavvy for a while but now are niche wear..

TBH I have a von dutch caps somewhere, their mesh truckers cap are great for the swimming pool on summer holiday...

No I've always just had Apline Star, Puma or Nike Caps.. I like the style of the Von Dutch trucker cap with the mesh but want a brand that's pretty decent but not one you see a lot of about

They were well expensive in the 2000s, £50-75 pounds per cap... used to date a girl who used to "collect" them. but with anything in high demand, they got cloned like mad and ended up on market stalls etc. so went chavvy.. you still see them now and again (Manchester) as they are niche and hipster (prob like myself) would wear them.

I got a load of caps for when I went skin head due to covid times, mainly Adidas as they seem to have a larger range of different sports sytles..

Oakley makes some good caps, New Era for US sports team or have a look at capslab they make a large range of different looking trucker caps... I have a snoopy one from them

but they do others cartoons and design.. I want a decepticon logo cap.

ICON caps are the latest chav wear at the moment, again 90% of them are fakes...

Oakley do a range for "shooters" where there's cut outs on the side to allow for sun glasses to sit on the lid.. I think it's an American thing...

But I just spotted a Wilde and Run Runner cap on capslab that I'm trying not to buy...

Ohh you'll pay abit for the import charge I'm guessing,

I like the Mesh type as I'm Bald so it lets the breeze get to my head  I also like the stand out colours, I have a Peachy/Pink Wooly hat and also a Bright Purple one so that gives a good idea of the colours I don't mind wearing
