I bought VORPX and played a few minutes of bioshock infinite.

If you don't mind or like seated VR experiences with a controller, its AMAZING value. I'm playing through Bioshock Infinite now and its just mindblowing how much detail there is in the envrionments and people which you simply ignore on PC through a monitor.

You can also dial up the contrast which is nice if you have a rift [something we can't do].

Overall I'm surprised how nice it is. It is fiddly as hell, but meh, I think its worth given you can revitalise old titles into awesome seated or standing VR experiences (With controllers).

No doubt it doesn't offer the tracking or motion controls or interactivity of proper VR games but I was really really impressed by RE7 on the PSVR which uses a similar setup.

that was my first impressions of VorpX when I got it. Thought it was amazing and wondered why more people weren't recommending it.

I did a quick 10-15 play on some of my favorite games and was very impressed. It was only when I actually tried to play games for any length of time that using VorpX became a pain. Things just don't look exactly right and it really annoyed me.

Hopefully you will continue to enjoy your VorpX gaming because it's great to revisit some of the classic games in VR. You should try Half Life 2 it's one of the better games.

I tried Bioshock Infinite and it looks legit.

I remember playing it through on my first playthrough and not really caring or taking in the baptism part.. but in VR.. ur like holy sheeeet

Outdated software that only works on a handful of games.

Too much hassle to get anything working.

It was great in the dk2 days and very early in the Vives and Rifts life, but now? It’s just not needed.
