Vote for the movie I should watch ? part 2

I don't know what to watch and thought the best option would be to ask.
some movies I've watched a number of time but other I've never seen ignoring great movies.
Maybe I To much choice, didn't like the trailer or the movie is old ect, missing out on some good movies.

For the first batch here are a few I've not seen, what do you recommend ?

Choices are
1. Anchorman, Anchorman 2
2. Gone with the wind
3. Street kings
4. Hard boiled
5. House of the Witch
6. The Great Escape
7. 8MM
8. 12 years a slave
9. 21 Bridges
10. Knives Out

Winner is The Great Escape, I will update you with my thoughts.

Ill need something to watch after so for the 2nd batch I wanted to make it a little harder by adding all the high rated movies I've never seen.

Choices are
1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. The Godfather
3. Schindler's List
4. Inception
5. Goodfellas
6. Se7en
7. Interstellar
8. Saving Private Ryan
9. The Departed
10. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Great Escape - Needs no introduction, stella cast and simply a classic. Can't go wrong.
8MM - I watched and would watch again but not in a rush to do so. It's a film I remember where and when I watched (not long after 9/11). Very dark.

Gone with the Wind, as with all legendary Hollywood epics such as Casablanca; its on the list to be watched one day!

I was thinking of adding one but I may want to update the thread with a new set of movies to choose from later.

I have a few john woo movies I've never seen, mostly because I have heard the name John woo as a big name like Spielberg.

Ive never seen The Great Escape, gone with the wind or Casablanca but I hear about them often.
 
The Great Escape - stellar cast, based in truth and the most iconic motorcycle chase ever
Knives Out and 21 Bridges were trash imo
 
tbh the only movie on that list I would probably rewatch is 8mm

the rock

are better nicholas cage films though.

The 2nd batch of movie choice is now up, this time movies are some of the top rated movies ive never seen.
I wanted to give them a longer voting time, so the time has been extended to 72hrs.

Let me know what you think.
