The beard in the Boys was hiding a lot of age. I'll probably see how this is as Soldier Boy and Stormfront were both good characters.

Tough sell tbh. I'm not generally a fan of 30s,40s 50s,60s America shows. Just can't relate with them, being a Brit and born in the 70s!

Also we know so much of the future that these types of prequel shows always lack a real danger to them. I almost wish that they changed the tone of this prequel. That would have been a good differentiator, considering a lot of people are fed up of the gore and toilet jokes from The Boys.

Would have preferred more of the Gen V cast in a show over this

I'm really on the fence about this, The Boys swiftly went down the drain after the first couple of seasons and ended poorly imo.

That said, Soldier Boy was fantastic and one of the few high points later on, Stormfront was another stand out character too.
