VPN question

Hi there,

question regarding dial in VPN connections

I'm using Drayteks smart VPN software (have also tried windows 7 own VPN utility) - this automatically dials in whenever i start the PC which is great.

I can map the drives fine but when i restart i really don't want to have to keep entering the server authentication password to connect to my mapped drives

is there anything i can do?

edit: not an expert but have lpt2 over ipsec selected

It’ll depend on exactly what you’re connecting to, but…

Using the same username and password on both systems often works.

If you map the drives using net use you can specify the username and password as parameters.

Add the credentials in to the "credential manager" in the control panel.
