PIA does quite well, can get up to 30MB/s sometimes, seems pretty good.
Mullvad will satiate gigabit no worries using WireGuard on their >10Gb servers.
I’m getting around 770 or so Mbps using Mullvad Wireguard.I get decent speeds using ProtonVPN.
Sorry, guess it would be more helpful if I said what . On a 1Gbps symmetrical connection I get ~5-600Mbps on the VPN. Moving to 2.5Gbps and a dream machine SE setup soon though so will be interesting to see what thats capable of.
That doesn't make sense, Wireguard is usually much faster than OpenVPN.does line speed (~30MB/s) at home via WireGuard and happily chugs 80-90MB/s via OpenVPN
Perhaps i didn't make the post clearer; it's two different locations, haven't tried Wireguard on the 10Gb line - i suspect it would be a lot, lot higher if i did though. That doesn't make sense, Wireguard is usually much faster than OpenVPN.
Like several VPN brands these days, PIA is now owned by a malvertising company. Look to Air, Mullvad, Azire, Proton or Windscribe for a 'clean' VPN. If streaming is important to you, read each site carefully.Could anyone please tell me if there are any major known issues with Private Internet Access (PIA) these days?
My main reason for using a VPN is that I'm uncomfortable with the idea of advertising companies collecting personal information/tracking me and making money from trading that information.
