*** VR Deals Thread ***

Luckily tech doesn't tend to follow all trends.

I've been bitten by buying items of clothing from a retailer in "early" BF sales only for it to be dropped further on the day. The only way for me to claim the difference was to send the item back and re-order. Bonkers.

The way stores are starting their BF sales early, I’m not surprised you got confused.
In a year or two, I think we’ll have to call it Black November.
In a decade or so we’ll call it Black Autumn :D
Yeh 100%

I literally thought Black Friday was yesterday...

Not normally interested but got my eye on a couple of bits so have been checking the sites.

I'm not sure if it's a sign that meta is doing well - but I recall getting sent regular discount codes , pretty much a decent regular sale on the Meta store.

Maybe it's because I'm more active now since buying the quest 3 that I'm noticing the gaps in between.

cant you find a decent 3rd party one? i often find the 3rd party accessories are at least as good as the official ones and a fraction of the price.

I like the way the meta case holds the controllers
A lot of the 3rd party cases i looked at you need to strap the controllers down...Am going to take another look at the 3rd party ones and see if there any i like

Looking at the Meta sale, has anyone here tried Eye of the Temple?

Yes. It was quite fun to begin with but then I kind of got lost in an area, had no idea where I was meant to be going and lost interest.

The way it utilises your room space is very clever. You need a good 2m x 2m clear space to play it in.
