Been playing Titanfall all day and decided to look at the usage I was getting. Sits at 60 fps with full settings but check out the VRAM usage

3580mb at 1080P is a lot. What usage do you get in this and what GPU are you using?

Aye I think we need lower vram cards to see what it actually needs. Couple of 1.2/1.5/2gb cards should give a better idea.

Just had a look on Origin at the price, £44.00 for a game without a benchmark whatever next.

I paid £27.46 for it with instant delivery but bought it twice by mistake (no idea how I managed it). great fun game and easily pickupable and playable. Good hit reg and big Titans to run around in.

Looks pretty damned good for an older engine as well but couldn't believe how much VRAM I see being used. Obvious caching is obvious but still curious to how much is actually needed.

Not played since it came out :)
Ruined by those pesky Titans!! The game played great, good movement, good feel and good gun control etc...but, like i said ^^ ruined by Titans. I never spawned mine, never been into the sort of vehicle game play anyway, just expected more people to be like me.

Tested the 670 though maxed out @1440 and 1080, would freeze every now and then @1440 but seemed fine @1080 if that helps, after that the settings were lowered so i had zero drops :D

I almost bought this. Glad I didn't would have been another 1 week fad game. I want an FPS to sink me teeth into and rinse in. I can load BF4 up and do alright but it's so vehicle dominant compared to BF3. Even on the vehicle heavy maps like Caspian and Kharg you could get some real nice infantry battles on the go in BF3. In BF4 I find it mind numblingly boring getting instagibbed by tanks and helicopters constantly.

cant really remember full numbers but i think when i played beta with 2gb 770 sli.... i noticed caching 80-90% something of my system memory (8gb)@ 1080p everything max out... which i taught was nuts at the time.. i think i mentioned it somewhere .......

My thoughts as well :)
I wasted £44 on Titanfall, played for 3 hours and uninstalled.

Played 31 hours of Final Fantasy X, paid £28 :D

Deffo gonna get it. The only reason my PS3 is still not packed away. Cheers for the heads up (again) :D

So many games and so little time :D

Lol, i'm only concentrating on FFX/FFX-2 now. Planning on getting all the trophies, just pretty daunting when one of them is complete the sphere grid....on all characters!!

Is it the version that has the Dark Aeons and Penance in? Wouldn't mind getting it if so.

Yup :)

I get 3050 at insane on 1440p but it stays at around that with both 4x and 8x MSAA. The game isn't using all the VRAM in buffer at one time. It's just untidy usage.

Enjoying this too
