I dont understand what happened here.

If i run a game with vsync on (depends on games, some are ok like source but League of legends, splinter cell, duke nukem, deus ex) all look unsmooth when i turn vsync off, like the fps is fine but walking left and right everything isnt 100% smooth.

Any solution to this? driving me mad i hate using vsync.

I think your solution is to use V-Sync but to also force triple buffering on via your gfx card program (I forgot what's it called for ATI cards!!).

I think its called 3D overrider, i use it all the time it forces tripple buffer and v-sync

It depends on the game really. But getting a 120hz monitor really helps.

It really is so much smoother on 120hz. Like mentioned before, enable tripple buffering will help.

Disabling v-sync will always make the game run like crap but you will get the highest frame rate possible but you will also get screen tearing.

Just got the Benq XL2410T and playing games @ 120hz is smooth as silk with vsync on.

If you don't want input lag then get 120hz monitor.
