Im thinking of getting one of these for my Yaris and I know your gonna say its a Yaris and theres no point but once Ive done my mods I do believe I will need one.
Does anyone have one? What are they like to use? Anything to look out for good and bad?

well it was on 103bhp, its now on 105bhp, with the VEETAK controller it ought to make it to 106bee haich pee. i definately think so

I just want to know the pros and cons and what they are like to use. Only asking cause people on here have Hondas either civic or an integra and might have one.

Don't forget the camshafts from a suitable vtec engine,

Pop em straight into your motor and the jobs a goodun! Vtec kicked in'yo.

what u may mean is actually CAMCON which controls VVTi etc for Toyota engines and VTEC for honda engines. they also do fuel trim too.

you can usually get them for around £200~

on your car maybe smooth out the power band a little and give a few ponies here and there!

dont listen to the anti mod brigade!

Worthwhile but only if you can adjust the fuelling and ignition timing to suit. Dropping the VTEC point a bit can smooth out the transistion and improve midrange.

^^ for economy, not performance...

think of it like overclocking...your engine is setup to do xxx but you can overcook it with ecu mods and there you go, more performance.

This is what we have to remember, one word. Yaris.

Any money spent on it is entirely pointless and would be better spent saving for a real car
