VW Beetle RSi

Some fat girl in work had on of these. It was left hand drive and had a crazy interior. Didn't think they were that rare but to be fair it stood out like hell with its massive arches and wing.

RSi was meant to be VW new "performance" tag.

Beetle was the first car to have it, plenty of info on the 'net about Bora RSi's, Lupo RSi (they had a dev car with a 2.0 V4 - which eventually ended up as the 1.6 LupoGTi)

Tag was dropped after the flop which was the overpriced, poorly recieved Beetle you see above, and the "R" monika kept along with engine size instead (R32, etc).

tail happy little things, even with the wing and geo setup.
The rear tyre wear is die to the aggressive rear geometry which was a attempt to get the thing to handle.
They're not really comparable to an R32, imagine an r32 development hack in a beetle body, that's about as close as it gets.

that would be very close then, as the beetle is mostly a golf with a different shell
