VW Compensation?

Besides which, the recall in the UK will be voluntary, so by opting in, you'd opt out of claiming. And if not opting in, then it's no different to what was sold.

Obviously our lawyer community in the UK will prove me wrong but that's the logical outcome.

Cars don't tend to make peak power during emissions testing anyway.
I have made those figures up, agreed, it was an example. However, it's been stated that there may well be a fix and this could result in reduced power, how much no ones knows, it may not reduce power, I was giving an example that if this reduces your power to the car then you have grounds for compensation.

I've not made up the fact that this has been stated. Whether it's correct or not who knows, I would be inclined to say it is. IMO.
