Vw Pd tdi engine?

Please can someone answer this

Do vw still use the tdi pd engine? Or have they stopped using it
Or did they stop using it and then started using it again?

Mates said he paid £2000. more to get the common rail diesel engine then the standard P/d engine? On his jetta

The PD engine is not used on the Jetta anymore. Your friend may have paid £2000 more to get the 2.0 TDI 140 PS rather than the 1.6 TDI 105 PS. Both are common rail engines.

Slight Hijack Sorry.

Does anyone have the picture of the cams that came out of a car that didnt use PD oil. They may have used normal 10w40 and the cams were almost round.

They don't except for industrial uses. Since it was retired from the line-up in 2009, my initial thought of "they might still be clearing the old model" is probably not applicable either.
