W10 Administrator but it won't allow me access to certain folders.

Just upgraded to a new system and have W10 (new OEM activation) on a new 240GB SSD. I transplanted my old HDD from my previous system with the intention of salvaging what I could before formatting it and using as a storage drive. I want to access the old users/Jon folder on that drive to grab a few bits and bobs but it just says

If I click continue nothing happens and I still can't access the folder.

Any idea how to get access.

Take ownership

Have a Google for a reg file that adds this function to your right click menu to make it less of a chore.
