W10 Steam/Media Machine

What options are there for creating a gaming/media machine? I'd like the PC to boot into an app like Steam Big Picture and within that app I could navigate solely with game pad and select from Steam, Amazon Video, Netflix etc.

Steam Big Picture is perfect for gaming and I can configure it to load on start up, but obviously there's no access to any other media app, which is what I also need.

Your bet bet is probably to run Kodi on startup then from there use its various addons to launch different media.

Not tried any of these mind. I use a cheap Logitech K400 media keyboard to switch between things.

The keyboard looks interesting, I take it you can customise it to launch apps? Would it cater for Steam BP, Netflix & Amazon?

I'll have a look at the Kodi apps as well.

I just hit the start key and launch whatever from there. On Windows 10 you could set-up tiles for apps/websites or just stick shortcuts on the desktop to make it easies I guess.

Not sure if you can as standard, but if not you can use something like AutoHotKey to detect you pressing CTRL+ALT+1 or whatever and Launch whatever you want.
