Spent the entire day playing about with this and searched the forums to my questions ...Both failed :(
Using W7 64 bit
Have a epson 1660 photo scanner that is not supported under W7(or vista 64 for that matter)Thought i would use the scanner under virtual xp mode(32 bit) but it won`t see it.(W7 64 bit sees it but there are no drivers for it so can`t use it)
Any suggestions guys?or am i screwed

My Epson RX620 is seen by Windows 7 x64.
I need to click USB then 'USB MPF2.0(High Speed)' on the top tool bar of the virtual machine.
In virtual XP mode it is installed in device manager as an unknown device and needs user intervention to install the correct XP drivers. Works fine after that.

Windows 7 itself shouldnt need a driver for you to use it in XP mode, as long as the USB device is there, XP mode should be able to "attach" it and then you use the XP driver to install said device. I did this on Thursday with a ECU diagnostic lead, no driver for Windows 7, yet in XP Mode, I installed the driver fine and it worked ok
