W7 / Office 2003 Print problems

Hi,
We have a Windows 7 Pro 32Bit workstation that is having major problems printing A3 prints on a OfficeJet Pro K8600.
The printer is W7 compatible and drivers were taken direct from the HP website.
Office 2003 is compatible with W7.

When trying to print A3 prints from Word 2k3 prints are sent to the printer but disappear before anything is printed. A4 prints work fine and are printing more or less instantly.
All print defaults were set for A3.

Can't find anything online, any ideas please guys?

Edit: Now any print jobs being sent to the printer are disappearing....

Is the printer connected directly to the workstation and shared out or using a network card? Also have you tried using another driver? There's usually PCL and Postscript to choose between so try both. I suspect this is a communications issue mind.

Printer connected directly to workstation.

Could not find any other drivers apart from what's on the HP website, the basic driver package or the full suite. The full suite has since been installed and a4 printing is working.. A3 has not been tried yet,
