W7 SSD

Hey Guys,

I'm building my new rig round W7, AMD 955 x4, 4GB DDR3 etc, and am looking to cut my boot, general loading times.

I need to know what size SSD I'd need to run Windows 7 (64 Premium) and my AV from.

All my other stuff, programs, photo's music etc will be on my 1TB 7200rpm Disk 32MB disc.

Whats your budget? The C300 is a great SSD and sufficent for Windows and a few Games as well.

60GB is enough for me for W7 Ultimate with swap and hibernate files, and all my apps, including Adobe CS5 and a 5GB Spotify cache. So you should be able to get a very good general improvement on your PC.

Thnaks guys, I've gone for the Intel 40GB setup. I dont need it to be massive for staorage, just apps.

40GB should be fine - I have a 60GB SSD, and of the 55.8GB available I have 36.5GB free.

All the apps I use are on it, as is the page file, system restore and recycle bin etc.
