Just bought all my bits for a new build and have decided to go with W7 64 bit and 8Gb of RAM. I bought an OEM copy of W7 Home Premium, but it's only come with the 64 Bit disc. I thought that it would come with both 32 bit and 64 bit discs?
I want to be prepared incase my hardware (particullary my Canon multi-function printer) won't work with 64 bit. I understand that the licence key I have will work with both versions, is that correct, and can I download a 32 bit ISO that I can then use of requred? I had a hunt on the MS web site but couldn't spot a 32 bit ISO that I could download.

Daegan. I have a MF3110 and have had a real good hunt but I can't find a 64 bit driver anywhere for it. What model do you have, as perhaps the driver for that one will work for the 3110?

all that ram would be such a waste if you was to use 32bit

Agreed, but if my printer won't work I'll revert back to 32 bit OS and will sell the extra ram. I've got a few spare toner carts for the printer just now so would rather not change it at this moment in time if I can help it.
