W8 nothing but problems,thinking going back to w7

Is anyone else getting loads of problems with windows 8 (mainly Internet Explorer lockups & crashes)
Am Getting internet explorer needs to close messages popping up loads of times and internet explorer freezing a lot for about 5 seconds

I had to do the window 8 restall/reset things & system restore about 5 times over the last couple of weeks..

Mine has had flawless stability. Try updating drivers.

Are you using a third party start menu or something like that?

It runs perfectly on my Dell Inspiron 15R SE. Is it a fresh install or upgrade you're running?

Yeah my win 8 firefox hangs all the time. Been getting some harddrive errors which are intermittent and the intel tool reports all drives and raids are perfect. Made better by latest ati drivers so think it's video related.

I had video problems with win 8. Went back to win7 before realising i had a fluffed GPU. ><

Window 8 works superb here, I did have driver issues at first though. But now its much faster then Windows 7.

Working fine here. Had an issue when I first installed where it wouldn't pick up the net. But a refresh sorted that.

Got mine on two computers, first one was a fresh install and no problems whatsoever (couldn't get it to upgrade Windows 7 so had to do fresh install). On one upgraded Windows 7 and there were a few issues (metro apps not working - had to reinstall Kaspersky, one Windows update not installing - had to turn off non windows services & unplug every USB device not needed) but got them resolved and flawless since.

A lot of people knock Windows 8 and some things take a bit of time to get used to but now I would never go back to Windows 7.

Not since I sorted out the ATI drivers on my laptop, Win8 running fine on there, from an upgrade. All I can suggest is check your drivers.

Three PCs upgraded to Win8,no issues here however I use Opera 64 bit version,I do use IE for Intel website ie their driver software checker,never given me any issues.

Thrown lots of games at it too from BG original to BG:EE and Firefall beta etc.. no issues in gaming either

Check event viewer for clues. Crashing isn't normal.

No problems at all. I've really gottten used to windows 8 and much prefer it's snappiness (and other benefits) over win 7.

It seems to be GPU driver problems while playing videos in Internet Explorer
Seems happen worst with the NVidia lastest 310.70 driver
