w800i call waiting error

My cousins w800i is giving an error when ever he tries to activate call waiting.

The error is: "call waiting command error"

He is on tmobile and it worked fine before on his other tmobile chip (which he disconnected - contract)

any ideas?

The phone probably needs to be setup with call waiting, id suggest giving t mobile a bell and ask them to give u the settings if the phone needs it. Unless theres a problem with the t mobile network.
