Hope someone can help. Got a w810i today. Tried to install a new theme and switched on the phone only to find that it is showing a white screen. Wont boot up past the white screen.

Anyone know how i can reflash this phone or hard reset it or something?

Dont want to have to send it back.

Have you taken the battery out?? and left it for awhile??. If you have and it still doesnt work then it might be a dodgy phone or that theme corrupted the phone...causing it to no longer switch on.

Dont think theres a hard reset button on the phone. well none that i have seen on mine. As for flashing??, the phone needs to be on in order to do that and flashing probably wont help tbh. Seems to me the phone is fubared.

Sorry cant be of any other help as i havent had this problem with my w810i.

I've heard of the davinci proggy to do this but not sure how to get it or what to do?

Try turning on without the Memory stick if it works then the memory stick is faulty.

The Da vinci program is for flashing but only gets rid of any stupid operator crap they put on the phone. My w810i was from tmobile and they had put a lot of their stuff on there plus they disabled a few features. Re-flashing it with a generic firmware got rid of all that crap and made the phone much much better imho. I did this through Da Vinci but like i said its only for getting of operator branded ruibbish...i dont think it will fix your phone tbh.

Plus your phone needs to be on while doing the flash so that it knows which firmware you have originally on the phone.

Seems like your gonna have to send it back for repair or replacement.
