My friend has a w910i as do I. He showed me his phone and there is an icon in the bar at the top of the screen where the text meassage envelope, bluetooth sign, lock key etc appear next to the signal strength.

The icon is like a small portrait photo with an arrow next to it. I've never seen it before.

Has anyone else ever had this?
What does it mean?
And how can you get it to go away?

thanks

If your friend is using a 2G SIM card, or has disabled 3G networks, then it could be the icon for the fact that video calling is diverted. I saw the same icon when I put in a 2G Orange SIM card into the W910i.

I will tell you how to.

Menu | Settings | Connectivity | Mobile Networks | GSM/3G networks | GSM only

I eamialed sony ericsson and got this response incase anyone else has the same issues

Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Centre.

We thank you for purchasing the new Sony Ericsson W910i. This icon indicates that you have a video call divert enabled. This can be removed by following the instructions below:

- Select "Settings" from your main menu
- Scroll right to "Calls"
- Select "Divert Calls"
- Select "Deactivate All".

I appoligise I thought it was the 3G icon you were on about. Glad you sorted it.
