wahey! ive completed 1st game for years!

I've always tried to finish games though there's been a fair few I haven't.

However with the 360, whether it's achievements to blame or a more concerted effort not to own too many at once (Using the buy a couple then sell and move on method) I've finished a fair few.

Tbh I've always finished rpgs, going back to Ultima IV and a few old Might and Magic games, up to pretty much all the Bioware ones. There's been a few notable exceptions including Morrowind on the PC and I'd don't think I'd ever really finished a facing game before either.

But finished on the 360 we have...

Kameo (completed, not all A ranks though)
Condemned 100%
COD2 finished on Vet
COD3 finished on Vet
King Kong
Burnout: Revenge all races Perfected
PR3 all Gold
Hitman 100%
Splinter Cell: Double Agent completed
Oblivion 100%
Enchanted Arms 100%
Prey 100%
GRAW finished on hard
Fight Night 100%
GoW finished on Hard, working through on Insane
Saints Row all activities complete and finished game
Dead Rising 940/1000 achivements (pretty much complete)
Chromehounds 'S' rank on all single player missions, won the mp war
Tomb Raider: Legend finished
Full Auto - All Full Auto Medals

Which is a fair few for just a year and a bit!

Which leaves, Lego Star Wars which I'm playing coop with the mrs but could be one I don't finish (bored of it), Phantasy Star Universe which I'm playing and know I'll finish and Viva Pinata that's still a game I've not filled up on yet.

Last game i finished was max payne, since then theres been a long list of games i've played and just stopped playing. (inc hl2 fear doom ect) I dont know why but it takes something special to keep me interested.

Definitely better to try and complete games imo, as long as you are enjoying them, but it's very easy to switch your attention to every new release and never finish stuff. You get much more out of a game by finishing it most of the time, saves you money too. I've got a pile of 360 and pc games to finish so I'm going to limit purchases from now on.

I know this isn't much cop but I fancy a coop game for me and the mrs. We played the D&D and Baldurs Gate games on the XBox, how does this compare?

Last game I completed was HL2 on the PC and even that took me a year and a half to get round to! I'm hoping for some more immersive gaming on the 360 though, when she arrives! :)

1st game I ever played all the way through to completion was Half-Life for the PC, since then I have tried to complete as many ass poss, unless I find a game completely boring and then I will just gerenerally take a look at it and sell it on.

Ever since i stopped playing my SNES i have never really completed a game apart from Zelda on the N64. Ever since i have just been playing online pc games such as CS, CS:S. The offline games that i would play i would get bored of after a while and always stop playing them before i completed them. Since i got my 360 in the summer that just past i have been abit more into gaming and i have just now completed GoW, that Raam was pretty hard! Actually feels quite good to finish a game lol, hmm....i think COD3 next!

Haha just thought id post my achievement :p

Call of Duty 2 on Veteran is better than Call of Duty 3, so I would go with that one first!

lol, do not touch eragon, it is possibly the worst game on the 360, nothing remotely good about it. Worst camera i've seen in a game of this genre for a long time.

Just completed all the Saints Row missions, its showing 71% done. I doubt I will do all the activites because they are just a pain in the arse.

Cheers, saved me a few bob. I feared as much.

Even more impressed you finished it now. :)

They truly are. Some of the level 8 drug trafficking / snatch / escort / hijacking missions would make baby jesus weep.
I've no idea how I found the patience, or bloody mindedness (take your pick) to do them all. Do yourself a favour and don't start down the road of doing them all.

I really dont understand why people persist with games that are that bad. Complete waste of time.

All depends how you define bad...

Bad as in frustratingly hard?
Or bad as in just plain not-fun irrespective of difficulty?

Even poor games can offer a modicum of fun and some people can't afford to just run out and buy something different.

I'm kind of with you though and I've not finished many a film. The last one I remember walking out of was AI. What absolute tosh.

I very rarely complete a game, its a good feeling when you do though. I've decided to cut down the number of 360 games on my shelf from 13 to 5 so I've got lots of work to do before I buy another game :o

Recently games that I've bothered to complete (not 100% achievements though) have been COD2, Condemned, Tomb Raider (latest one) and NFS:Carbon, Full Auto, Burnout Revenge, PGR3 (only to bronze level) Flat Out 2 on PC

Ones I've given up on on 360- Kameo, Top Spin 2, DOA4, King Kong, NBA 2k6, FIFA World Cup, Fight Night 3- so close on this one but my boxer had had it and I didn't have the heart to start again,

Realistic ones to complete out of my current batch- TD:U, Saints Row, GRAW, PES6 eventually, Marvel : Ultimate Aliance, RR6 eventually, Amped and Moto GP3

Will probably give up on NNN, WWE and Table Tennis

I mean bad as in bad, not hard.

I really doubt that most of the people playing Ergaon actually bought it, I mean why the hell would anyone buy it? Its complete tosh by all accounts.
