I keep holding off for a new PC as one of the reasons is that windows 8 PC's will be out most likely with in the next year or so. Say if i buy a £1,400 PC now and windows 8 comes out with in the next year or so no doute that it will have something new to have to make windows 8 fully work. My computer now will most likely run windows 8 and mine is a q6600. It just that it will proly say that if you want so and so to work you need this kind of ship set etc and same with Ivybridge now. Should i wait that bit longer and put up with mine for now or bite the bullet and buy 1 now as people say?.

You do realise Windows 8 actually is due to have lower minimum requirements than Windows 7?

If you must have Windows 8, just buy it when it comes out. Simples.

Windows 8 has been designed for lower specs and for touchscreens mainly. Any pc capable of windows 7 will run windows 8

Ill be sticking to Windows 7 for the next few years (cause I like it...) and I haven't seen anything but does windows 8 actually have the Ribbon on everything like it was rumoured to have?

Ill have to youtube it I guess... they haven't made it more "user friendly" again have they? I never get on well with user friendly stuff >.< ahh no I like having minimalistic UI's >.>
