Hiyahh!

Well after doing a wee favor for work i have wed thu and fri off!

Kinda want to do something doable, and im in the mood to kinda vanish and get away! Been up north, been down south, but never been to Wales!

What do ya all think of Wales? Any suggestions of nice places etc? Good places to stay would be good actually... cheap!

Any suggestions or ideas? It would just be me, reading, chilling, thinking... basically getttin away

Go camping in the brecons. Do a few walks and take in the scenery. If you do mountain biking even better.

I've been to Wales once, Cardiff, to watch Blackburn Vs Arsenal FA cup semi final a few yrs ago. And all my memory was (a lot of drink was consumed) that they hate the english, so much so that I end up spending a night in a cell... But looking back I;m sure that was my fault!

Although I'm not Welsh, I'm quite fortunate where The Gower is on my doorstep. Some breathtaking views, some good cycle routes, relatively cheap places to eat and drink and a few guest houses dotted everywhere.

I do like the idea of Camping... but im not sure on doing this on my own! Id feel more at ease if there was me +1 more to go camping... feel a bit out there on my own!

LOL, nah, I'm sure it was because I'm English, they tend to like anyone else who isn't english, but by now, I'm sure I've used up all my stereo-typical points, what I'm saying is that I hope all us English that venture west into wales, are not accountable for Anne Robinson.

hehe we love the scots, could do with more tbh

cardiff has loads of english people in it so its not that - you prob said something you shouldnt have.

Next time your out in cardiff chant "swansea oh swansea oh city of mine!" you'll wake up in a hospital bed instead of a cell then
