Wall mountable pc monitors?

Do such things exist? Ideally around 24-26 inch? I only ask as my desk is quite narrow so any space i can free up the better

most monitors have got the 4 hole mounting threads on the back so you can just buy a bracket

Look for VESA-compliant mounting mechanisms...

Basically a 10x10cm-sized bracked on the rear of the monitor which the VESA bracket (and normally, the monitor stand) attach to.

Very easy, simple, etc.; the hardest part is making the cables disappear...
