most movie action soundtracks have bass that's lower in frequency than music, some around 10hz. Home theatre forum has a bunch of tests/graphs. Use those titles.

There's also a tune from FFX OST called "Those who come closer" which has the deepest bass I've ever felt if you want to test the sub in that department. Think it goes down to 14hz. Made me feel sick when played through a Servo 15
