Thread title is the understatement of the year. I mean I'm as ruff as a Badgers **** & my desk is cluttered with stuff but it's ipod/moby/midi system/leads/a few wooden boxes /ashtray & smoking stuff but it's all clean & tidy 'ish.

He used to leave his front door open so the takeaway guys could come straight in, walk upstairs and leave his food on the top step.
The rest of his house was spotless because he never went anywhere else.

On another note, it just goes to show that some people really do have nothing else but the internet in their lives. As long as they've got that internet connection, then that's all they need. A bit like an alcoholic, drug addict or even a smoker. As long as they have those things, nothing else matters.

Some of the empty rooms look a bit creepy, as in, these people have nothing else in their lives other than a CRT, PC and a bed...

Also the one which just looks like someone has made a home in a cave or under a house, with the bed kind wedged under the roof/ceiling/hovel, what the hell is that?? It's not even a room/building...

I think it looks more like poverty than addiction.
Many of these appear to be squats, so once food/shelter has been sorted I guess the next on the list is an internet connection or console.

That most also appear to live in their own mess is possibly depression at their circumstances, I'd guess washing/cooking facilities are not common in your average squat either.

The sad part is that we are probably looking at some kids bedroom and his day job will be some menial role in a kitchen.
