Its best to just ignore people like this. At the end of the day u did what u did and he drove off on his scooter, so no harm done.

On a separate note, i didnt realise that there were so many keyboard warriors on this forum. ;)

.....all it will take is for someone to ask if he broke the speed limit to over take that scooter.......
 
You should have taken a detour, driven along 30 roads to the countryside then found a nsl and just drive off. That way he gets lost and second you don't have to worry about the chav brigade getting retribution. :D
 
I reckon there's more to this story... You sure he didn't blow you away from a set of lights? :)
 
Clearly he has low self esteem, he feels he has to prove himself on the roads ...with a scooter ...which he knows is pants, but he can't do much about that so he just gets mad about it :p ...quite sad really.
 
Cant say i have had hard men on the road with scooters but there is a few neds round here with scooters.They will end up dead the way they drive.

a lot of people take it to heart when i go faster than there car off a roundabout.I go down this hill and use the speed and then pedal like **** and the car next to me(on the road,im on the pavement) gives me some look and then puts the foot down :D

My dad had some idiot try to overtake him on a blind corner while my dad was in the middle of the road due to the amount of potholes on said road.Why on earth try to overtake when

A.My dads in the middle of the road
B.Its a blind corner
C.The junction is 50yards away

To ride a scooter is only a provisional license needed with no training?
The way some of them ride around here I hope they never get a license for a real bike.

And what's the minimum age, 16?
 
My mate was telling me all the rules n such but i forgot already.

At 17 your allowed a 125cc and it only costs £110 + the cost of the bike and 3hours training in a field.Not sure if a full face downhill bike helmet is safe enought for road use??? Thats what the neds appear to use here but i think bike helmets need to pass more tests.

I would like to have a scooter to get about cheaply but i also value my life.Soooooo will pay the price and get a car and be reasonably safe.
 
I get an unbelievable amount of grief when riding. I've got a 125 so it far exceeds the 30mph limit which is everywhere in London, but yet drivers have to overtake me even when I'm doing 40. I always pass them again, it's inevitable because there are always queues of cars at the lights, but some drivers get eggy about it.

Anyway I got followed "home" by some fat toughguy in a Golf last week, not the first time it's happened, probably not the last either. He'd cut me up on the inside on a single carriageway 30 zone and I gave him gestures as I rode past about 100 yards further up the road. I took him for a little ride around the small side streets at 20mph where there is no space to pass, then up a block-end with only enough space at the end to get a bike through where I made my getaway. Idiot fell for it :D I just left him there fuming and tricked my the Jonny69meister :cool:
 
No offense but i hate scooters and think they should be banned on anything other then 30MPH roads. They are great cheap transport but they annoy me so much (im talking about the 50cc things that cant do 50mph).

Every morning on my way to work i get stuck behind the same guy who can only do 30mph on a 50mph road which is too narrow with too many blind corners (and too much oncoming traffic) to overtake him. The main problem is that a lot of people would still try to overtake him and this causes accidents.
 
That's the reason I ditched my 50. If you've ever ridden a motorbike I can guarantee a 50cc is a much scarier experience than any fast bike :D

This is why you need a fast car on the roads, anyone who gets narky you can simply blow kisses too then drive off, leaving them with their anger and foot on the floor, but seeing you slowly become a dot. :D

I've only had about 3 road rage incidents in the entire time I've been driving, each time I've had the power to simply remove myself from the situation which makes me smile like the smug and annoying git I am. :p

I've had this happen before when I was visiting my parents for the weekend up north. Some kid pulled out of me at a junction and got the hump when I nearly ran over him then horned him.

He followed me to my parents...didn't really want the then new LCR keyed later that night so just drove past - started driving really slowly so the little scroat knew I was watching him - he soon got bored...
 
I overtook someone once so they chased me :rolleyes:

Try and avoid road rage but sometimes, stupid, stupid people need a good ol' beep beep for being so stupidly stupid.
 
heh, well I was waiting for my dad to pick me up from Nursery thursday, This nissan skyline cut up some guy in a ford fiesta, guy in the fiesta honks his horn... the guy in the skyline was in the wrong because of the junction and the fact he was on the wrong lane, this fiesta nearlly got totalled, well this guy in the skyline gets out of the car after the fiesta had honked... and goes over to the drivers side window (which was open) and the guy punches the lad in the fiesta...


Some people are just so pointlessly violent.

Edit: Then again, I do a lot of swearing when lights suddenly turn red ¬_¬
