Cheers will check those out
I have the 1 tb 850x in my main system, looking for a new drive to go into a x570 mobo that will be arring soon from the mm for my nephew:)

I've strangely just bought the WD Black 2TB 850X just yesterday. It's installed alongside the older 1TB 850. Great drives

I'd get any drive that they forgot to increase the price (as much) :o

For higher-end ones with DRAM:
- Crucial P5 Plus 1TB is £72 and MSI's M480 Pro is also £72.
- Lexar NM800 is £80.

Lexar NM790 is DRAMless, but £60 is reasonable.

If you end up paying close to £100 for 1TB, I wouldn't. I'd just get the 2TB P5 Plus @ £115.

Like the price on that crucial,`slightly slower than the WD and Samsung.
Would you go price over performance?or is the higher speed negligible?
This will be for OS and a few games

I would, the P5 Plus is still a high-end drive and the drives are usually updated over time, so the review differences may be less (or more). You'll never notice the difference between a high-end drive and another high-end drive.

Seen the Crucial T500 recommended a bit lately, personally I've tended to buy Samsung, but have been buying SK Hynix Gold a bit lately as 2nd drive upgrades for laptops and on the basis of that got a SK Hynix Platinum as one of the drives in my gaming PC - so far seem to be reliable drives which are quick where it matters and marginally faster loading games than most.
