Have to admit, I don't see what the fuss is about. It is clearly a very high end PSU for the absolute enthusiast. Similar to the ASUS MARS GPU we got a year or two ago and now with the GTX 690s. Why are so many people having a pop at OcUK for having such epic stuff in stock?

No one is pointing a gun to your head to buy it. Stop complaining and purchase what YOU can afford. Everyone has their preference. Yes, it's an expensive PSU, but then the same could be said for a monitor, case, keyboard, mouse and even a sodding CPU. But you'll still find someone who likes to complain.

Anyway, it's EVGA, what esle did you expect? Let those with deep pockets spend their money how they want.

As for that 500W for £12, I will 6 of those please :D

Pity it wasn't available when I put my PC together......

I had to settle for a 1500w Silverstone PSU.

i7 990x, four GTX680's, Five Water Pumps, four 2TB HDD's, Five 60GB SSD's, six 2GB DDR3 2000Mhz RAM, twelve 120mm fans........ I think thats about it.

All OC'd :D

Few things I have a problem with -

1. Braided cables nothing new done before
2. High power output because we can, useful (no) nothing new
3. Software monitoring and adjustment done before in Gigabyte odin PSU range from 4 years ago nothing new
4. Missed the platinium certification which actually would save you money oops!

Brings nothing new to the table for me so won't be buying one.

Enjoy it if you do though! Also why the heck would you want that ugly handle on the back?

There is a handle on the back because 90% of people who will buy this will not bother installing it in a case.

It's a bench markers supply meaning the handle makes it easy to carry and pick up.

That and it's bloody heavy!
