The law for retailers online is pants. Basically any DSR products which are returned we have to refund; we then can request that the payment is for "usage/misusage/damage" but imagine trying to get that authorisation? The only option a company then has is to take legal action against the customer to retrieve lost funds.

This option for OcUK is not something we would do due to the workload, time and cost involved in starting a small claims court procedure against somebody. Plus we don't want to be taking legal action against customers. Would you shop with OcUK again, regardless of whether OcUK was justified in doing so?

I think its just morals, some people just couldnt care less. :( I feel bad enough when i break the security seal and remove all the cellophane from the item and then return it - I would never dream of modding a case and send it back! Just how i would like my customers to treat me if i had my own business.

Same, I would never dream of returning something that wasn't in the exact condition it turned up in. Just goes to show the downright nerve of some people.

Starting a small claims case isn't really that costly, you wouldn't need to seek legal advice. Admittedly though it wouldn't make commercial sense touring a claim against an unknown consumer who may not have more than £1 to his name anyway.

For someone who should have a working knowledge of commercial law, my knowledge of rights of an on retailer are admittedly poor. I'm assuming the jurisdiction clause in your t&cs relates to the jurisdiction of England & Wales?

That Anidees case is a beaut. Was looking at their range back when I was case-hunting. Went for a black with white trim Shinobi in the end and it was the price of the Anidees which swayed the decision. Had I seen this back then I would have gone for it

That windowed shinobi xl is great value, you could probably get a set of bezels easily enough, and lian li mesh ones fit it no problem as well. They actually help with airflow if you stick a fan behind them.
