Want something from the USA but they don't ship internationally. Options...

Hi all, I'm after something from America but the place that sells it doesn't ship internationally?

Am I right in thinking my only way to get it shipped over is by using one of those mail forwarding services where you buy like a USA address get it sent there, then pay for shipping from there to my address?

If so, can anyone recommend me any decent ones?
 
Do you know anyone in the USA you could get it delivered to and then they forward it on by courier?

I did this one with a lass I used to game with who lived over there then just wired the money over.

Will depend on the size / value of the item as to if this is cost effective or not. And of course if you know anyone there.
 
What item..?

Can you not source elsewhere? The states is rather large so there must be a competitor that might ship..

If it's anything other than Freedom, you're screwed. That's the only thing America exports globally nowadays.

there are re-shipping services (ie http://www.reship.com) for exactly this sort of issue but they aren't cheap. Isn't there anywhere else that'll sell it? or try e-mailing the company directly (allot of US merchants just don't think there's demand from the rest of the world... or realise its out there)

I've mailed before and they normaly come in with an offer :)
 
If you can find out what size crates do they ship realdolls in? I may be able to get you some shipping prices.
 
Have you actually spoken to the company? Maybe if you ask via email nicely, they may be willing to make an exception?

If not, you'll either have to befriend someone in the US or use some sort of mail forwarding service such as MyUS.com
 
I'm in the USA (Florida) at the moment. Depending on the item I'll bring it back to the UK and courier it from there if you want. I'm here until April 17th or so. Email in trust if you want to get in touch.
