Want To Build A Website

If you want to get up and running quickly, I suggest you use the Joomla CMS (www.joomla.org). Its bulky and has more features than you'll ever need, but it's relatively well coded and is cross-browser compatible. I'd only use this in the short term though while you got your coding skills together :)

I second this, I've used Joomla on a number of times for a few different websites. It's very simple and looks great.

Woo.. Looking on that website and i havent got a clue what there trying to teach me !

Think im best of with the Microsoft to start with. More easyer and simple (i Hope)

Any other information is welcomed !

Thanks for your help! :D

The problem with going MS is that they basically ignore web standards and the code will be geared towards IE browsers, so basically it will be horrible code and you wont learn anything.

If you start from the ground up, you can understand how it works [in real browsers] and be more able to make good-looking sites.

You want to learn XHTML - the language used to define a page's content and structure. Then CSS to define how a page looks.

It is daunting at first but it is very easy to learn.

Good Luck ;)

I think the performancepc one would be a good idea.

Let us know what you eventually go for and we can take a look!

Ever wanted to make a forum like this one? your website can be the source of fresh information.

Where would i get the information? Copying from other site will not help and would be rather pointless
