Want to come back to racing car games but...

IRacing is yes. Its bloody brilliant but can get costly. It's very serious, you do have to race proper, ie have some sort of race craft about you and does not attract typical boneheads, well the rookies has its fair share lol. It really is like a proper online racing career.

Project Cars 2 is great Cavallio, its probably the most flushed out Single player along with Forza 7 but thats quite arcadey. Practice, Quali and races, full pit crews, manual pit entries and exits etc. I think it might suit you best. AC is excellent as well, for content and handling better than PC2, but its Single Player career if you can even call it that is terrible.

I've actually started another Project Cars 2 career, but trying to play it with more realism ie no HUD from helmet cam etc. Sorry for the plug, but so you get an idea.

 
Project Cars 2 is great. It's still full of bugs (mainly around setups) but the gameplay is great and it's full of really good content.

VR makes driving games a much better experience for me if you combine it with a wheel and pedals.

I would never have thought about VR, but got bought a PS4 and VR last Xmas and I must admit I was a bit underwhelmed having been Xbox for years and already having an Xbox One.

I now have a full racing setup, including seat, and don't really play anything but DriveClub.

If you go on to the windows store there is a free version of forza 6 basically just a light version of the game but I found it really good I didn’t even bother buying the full game.
I play Project cars quiet a lot. I use a Xbox one remote and at first I thought I was impossible but after hours and hours it’s a lot easier now. But if you have a steering wheel even better!
Just waiting to get onshore so I can play project cars 2 which the Mrs has pre downloaded for me getting home.
If your after a fun drive about go for the need for speeds that’s where I head for.
Think the series are getting worse the more they take out I have wrc 3,4,5,6,7 in the hope they get better but they don’t (I think)
I have assetta corsa to and automobillista and there PROPER sims which are just imposssible to play unless you have the prope setup yet again just what I think.

I've got project cars 2 but I found it really hard so it wasn't fun. I felt like I have to put 110% into it all the time. So I lost interest.

I've played most of the need for speeds. Right from the first one. Just not played rivals yet.

I'll check out that demo when I finish work tomorrow, cheers.
