Tried to negotiate an insurance policy with them.

2 phone calls to there call centre cost me £14.70 :eek: :eek: :eek:

I feel like ive been bent over and taken one for the team :mad: :mad:

Ouch, it premium rate? I think there is a Budget office on Rochdale Road in Blakely (Manchester), don't know how close that is for you though.

called an 0870 the other day for 17 mins in the day from my O2 contract phone any idea how much thats going to set me back? :mad:

depends on your tariff, however most 0870 is chargable, you should have heard an announcement to say you would be charged. if you didnt hear the announcement and you get charged, then complain :]

i was replying to the poster above me who asked about his 0870 call on an 02 contract ;]

0870 IS national rate

and IIRC on o2 is 10p/minute but it can be taken off your call allowance if you have any left also;

0844 Local Rate + 1p or so
0845 Local Rate
0870 Local Rate x 2
0800 Free
0500 Free
0704 Premium
09xx Premium

0800 is free from landline, its not automatically free on mobile however some people who have 0800 have arranged for it to be free from mobile as well, like childline and the AA, etc
