I use my pc for both work and media watching; i would like to be able to make it easier to have windows on the monitor for work during the day and then change it to the TV at night; i like being able to use the mouse so i can browse via windows what i want to watch next; plus turn off the pc. What ways can this be done excluding the manual way of nvida control panel? I have a 2048x1125 monitor and a 1920x1080 TV so i cannot clone afaik; would "overscan" work for me hear?

One other go-between is to set nvida to boot into my "work mode" with the monitor as the primary display and the monitor set up in dual view; can this be done?

Also i would like the sound to automatically change to whichever display i am watching any ideas on this?

Thanks

if you have Windows7, Win+P allows you to very easily change between monitor output modes.

set to "monitor only" when you're working and "extend" when you're watching media? Schimples.

Win+Shift+Left/Right allows you to move a window from monitor to monitor instantly :)

This is actually a HUGE help so thank you very much for this! Do you know of a way that i can simply the process for the sound as well? May be a way that will set the sound to TV when i have it as main display and speakers when my monitor is main display?

Thanks again
