Want to upgrade GPU but unsure about my PSU

Going by Corsair, it is the socket on the GPU and PSU that was updated to 12V2x6.

Corsair has their cable listed as a 12v2x6 (not sure i can link to it).

You could get a Cablemod cable with 3 x PSU connectors if that makes you feel better/safer.
It looks better than the Corsair and think the wires are thicker.

Do you mean this one which was linked previously? If this solves my problems and has no flaws to potentially blow up my house then it's probably the option I will take.

Also I ended up updating my BIOS now I get this error randomly when Windows started

Ok I fixed the error by installing the piece of **** msi center and instantly removing it. unsure why that worked but it did.

Anyway sorry for going off-topic. Gonna hold on for a bit and perhaps hear more information is regards of the 5070 supers etc. I will probably end up buying the 5070 ti next month if i don't hear much about them.
