WANTED: E30 325i

It comes back to the OP and his choice.
He specifically wants one of these cars, for reasons that have little to do with how technically good/bad the car actually is.

FWIW i love the E30, one of my best friends has a totally immaculate& rebuilt 325i Cab, its gorgeous. I see where the OP is coming from, the E36 doesnt do it for me either.

I'd love an e30 M3. But there's no way I'd pay the going rate they currently command for something I'd be scared to drive very often.

I agree with you, and also to a point on your previous post.

The OP seems to want one from his heart, sure. My main point was that I'd guess his heart could be very easily swung in favour of the e36 M3 if he had the opportunity to try one.

The 325i is a great car and I have often fancied owning one for similar reasons to the OP, I'm old enough to recall these first time around.... (not saying your not!)

In my own case, I've driven a fair few e30 325i's over the years but never owned one, but, I have also driven a fair few e36's and having being fortunate enough to sample at length a 3.0 e36 M3, my "lust" for the e30 is simply not there any more.

Thats simply my thoughts on the issue, thoughts the OP did ask for. :)
