Howzit guys.

Well, I am enjoying my networking at the moment. However I don't know a lot about it. So, is there anywhere online (other then WikiPedia) that I can read and learn more about each part of the networking?

You should do the CompTIA Network + course. It is actually really enjoyable and you'll learn loads about networking. Look it up on their website. I highly recommend it. Don't worry about what you know as the course is pretty much aimed at beginners, but you WILL learn a lot whatever your level of experience

The Network+ course is a really good foundation if you are just starting in networks. It will teach you the basics and I found it very interesting.

You can study for the exam in your own time and then just take the exam which is the cheapest way or you can go to a training provider where they will provide materials, face to face teaching etc.

I would recommend you buy “Network+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Third Edition: Exam Guide (All-in-one) by Michael Meyers” I found it to be a very good book even if you don’t want to take the exam.

The exam testing is provided by a company called “Prometric” I just checked and there are 34 centres where you could take the exam in South Africa.
It would cost 1820 Zar to take the exam. Information about the testing locations are found at http://www.prometric.com.
