Hi didnt know where to post this sorry if I got it wrong

...I'm going to be receiving a motherboard in the post tommorrow, I thought my current mobo had given up the ghost but I managed to revive it. So I dont need this motherboard thats on its way, what is the best course of action?

Do I a) Tell the courier I wish to refuse the item, hopefully they send it back and I get a full refund b) keep it and sell it to my friend who works in a pc repair place or c) email the company and tell them my "son" has been using my card without permission and I would like a refund

So what should I do? Would appreciate your thoughts, thanks.

If you've bought it from online, then you can legally send it back to the company under distance selling laws.

BUT, they may charge you a restock fee. You'd best do it via the company I believe.

Refuse delivery, then call the place you bought it from and tell them that's what you've done, assuming it's unopened I'm pretty sure they are legally required to give you a full refund.
